ABOUT US

The Budapest-based Center for Fundamental Rights (Alapjogokért Központ) has been a Hungarian think tank dealing with political and legal analysis since 2013. The Center serves as the main organizer of CPACHungary, the only Conservative Political Action Conference on European soil. A key mission of our organization is to galvanize the cooperation of conservatives worldwide.
The Center considers preserving national identity, sovereignty, and Judeo-Christian social traditions as its primary mission, especially amidst the 21st century's heightened processes of globalization, integration, geopolitical changes, and technological advancements. Additionally, countering today's overgrown human rights fundamentalism and political correctness, which have been affecting numerous aspects of our everyday life, is a well-known aim of the Center.
The research fields covered by the Center span a wide range of branches of law that are subjects of public interest, ranging from questions of classic constitutional law to electoral systems and EU-law. In all our different analyses and papers, a common goal is to find a healthy balance between individual rights and the interests of society while remaining grounded in common sense.
Scientific activity is an integral part of our daily life, with various books and articles published on a regular basis. Furthermore, fostering the development of individual talent is a core aspect of our work.
